Who We Are

Welcome to the University of Southern California's (USC) Linux User's Group (LUG). We are a community of users of various unices such as Linux, *BSD, Solaris, etc. We consist of users ranging from experts to novices, and we exist to promote, discuss, and assist our community with Linux and open source software in general. About our organization:

• Membership is free, open to anyone, and at the moment only really consists of joining one of our mailing lists.
• We have monthly meetings which you can find out about here.
• If you have any questions, please feel free to contact one of the officers or staff.

What's New

• Welcome new students to USC and welcome back returning students to the 2004-2005 school year. If you're new to the LUG, please join either the usclug-chat mailing list or the usclug-announce mailing list using the links to the left. Our first meeting this year is tenatively scheduled for September 16th. More details will be posted as they become available. We hope to see you there
